Feingold will speak at the county Democratic dinner in La Crosse on Saturday night.
Wine laughs off issue ads portraying Feingold as “too liberal” and “too yesterday.”
Senator Johnson recently told a Madison audience that Feingold thinks he’s smarter than Wisconsin voters and is running again to satisfy his ego.
Feingold raised about $1 million more than Johnson during the three-month period ending in September, the first full quarter where Feingold was an announced candidate.
Both campaigns released detailed spending report summaries today that were due to be filed with the Federal Elections Commission.
Both say they have about the same amount of cash on hand, but Feingold raised $2.4 million between July and September, while Johnson brought in $1.4 million.
