Wood and Worra, who went on different paths, now inducted into Onalaska H.S. HOF
One’s a judge, the other an opera singer
One is a state Supreme Court justice, the other is a Grammy-nominated opera singer, and both are Onalaska High School graduates.
The two women have gone a long way in their professions since graduating 30 years ago. They were back this weekend to be inducted into the high school’s hall of fame.
Justice Rhonda Wood (Sissel back in high school) of the Arkansas Supreme Court, says the debate team and other activities in high school gave her a good background for a law career, and becoming a judge.
The other honoree, Dr. Caroline Worra, says opportunities in music and sports at Onalaska helped her prepare for other types of work.
