Randall allegedly shot high school student 9 times

One month has passed since the fatal shooting of a Central High School student on La Crosse’s south side.

Today, the suspect in the murder of George Miller is scheduled to return to court and possibly enter a ‘not guilty’ plea.

Deshawn Randall is expected in court with his newly-appointed attorney, Michael Covey out of Madison.

Covey was recruited for the case shortly after Randall fired his first public defender.

A judge will probably hear testimony from police about the August 21 attack on Redfield Street, in which Miller was shot nine times.
