Two treated for burns after explosion

Flames were as high as 30 feet

OSSEO, Wis. – Witnesses said the flames were up to 30 feet high. Two men are reportedly being treated for burns after a Tuesday explosion at Kings Valley Ag. 

Crews were apparently installing new equipment at the corn-drying business when a gas line blew. By the time the fire dept. arrived, the flames had burned out.

One of the injured men was flown to a burn unit in Madison, while the other was flown to a hospital in Minneapolis and are reportedly in stable condition.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
