World’s best anglers are in La Crosse
Shooting a TV competition to be aired in 2016
The world’s best fishermen have been at it on waters around La Crosse.
The Major League Fishing show and the Outdoor Channel have brought them to the area for a made-for-TV special competition. The group has been here since Monday.
Jeremiah Burish, with the La Crosse Area Convention and Tourism Bureau, says it’s a huge competition that wraps up Saturday.
Results for what many consider the most popular competitive fishing show ever, won’t be known until it airs in 2016.
