UW-L students moving in, expect congestion

Friday and Saturday, perhaps try avoiding campus

New and returning UW-La Crosse students will be moving into campus residence halls Friday and Saturday.

Signs will direct traffic, including two digital signs and a billboard on Hwy. 16. Parking will not be allowed on a few side streets.

Expect a high level of traffic near campus, particularly on the following streets

• Hwy. 16 from I-90 (exit 5) to La Crosse St.
• Losey Blvd. from La Crosse St. to Main St.
• La Crosse St. from Losey Blvd. to Oakland St.
• Main St. from Losey Blvd. to 13th St.
• State St. from Losey Blvd. to 13th St.
• 21st St. North from Main St. to Campbell Rd.
• 22nd St. North from La Crosse St. to Campbell Rd.
• Campbell Rd.
