Police investigating second weekend shooting in La Crosse

A report of a shooting in the area of Seventh and Cass Streets on Sunday afternoon in La Crosse has followed a report of shots fired at houses near 5th and Jackson on Friday night.  It appeared as though one person was taken away from Sunday’s shooting in an ambulance.  It wasn’t immediately clear whether the person in the ambulance was a shooting victim.  Investigators did take a woman from that scene who did not appear to be under arrest. 

Meanwhile, Friday’s shooting is still under investigation.  No one was injured in that shooting, though a couple of houses were hit.  Little information has been released by police about the shooting and no arrests have been made.
