Just say ‘no’ to roundabouts. New legislation in Madison would allow cities and towns in Wisconsin to do just that: Tell the DOT ‘no’ when the agency plans a roundabout for the municipality.

La Crosse city council member Audrey Kader says it wouldn’t have mattered to her for the roundabout planned in her district at Seventh and Cass. She says there are often those who don’t have an open mind towards improvements.  Just like when the roundabout was installed on Sand Lake Road in Onalaska.  Lots of naysayers then, too, says Kader.
