Final list for tomorrow’s first televised presidential debate includes Wisconsin governor Scott Walker. No surprise for a candidate who has been consistently near the front of the pack.

The guy at the very front: Donald Trump. He’ll also be attracting the most attention. Probably because he says some of the most incendiary things, says La Crosse Republican Party chair, Bill Feehan. 

Making provocative statements, says Feehan, that situates him well to be noticed in a crowded Republican primary and taps into the anger of many voters who feel they’re being underrepresented by the rest of the candidates.

On the other hand, Feehan says he doesn’t appreciate the distinctly negative things Trump frequently has to say about his fellow Republicans.
