Man smashed squad car windshield … with head

Taser didn’t work, police had to pepper spray him

It wasn’t bad enough that he was attacking people downtown Tuesday night. It didn’t even culminate when he backed his car into a building.

It was that, when police arrived, the 23-year-old man on King Street, climbed onto the squad car and broke the windshield with his head, according to Police Sergeant Randy Rank.

He had to be subdued with pepper spray after trying to attack an officer. That, after tasing him didn’t work. The man apparently was drunk and is in the hospital, being treated for injuries.
