New CEO at Family and Children’s Center

Yutuc worked 25 years for nonprofits in Chicago

A La Crosse native has returned to the community to lead the Family and Children’s Center. 

Tita Yutuc has worked for more than 25 years in the Chicago area in nonprofit family programs. She holds a Master’s Degree in social work for the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Yutuc began her new job two weeks ago, and she’s looking at ways of meeting the health needs of children and adults, while also trying to increase donations to the nonprofit center.

Yutuc replaces Diane Weigel, the interim president for Mike Boehm, who resigned in November 2014 after 18 years. 

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
