Associated to close more branches
Associated Bank is planning to close more branches in Wisconsin. Even though the company saw its income rise during the second quarter, six Associated locations in the state will be shut down, including one in Eau Claire. Changes in customer patterns, including greater use of digital banking, are being cited as the reason for the closings. Associated plans to open a new bank in La Crosse next summer on County Lot C, to take the place of its State Street bank, which will soon become a county office building.
