MN lawmaker: No MNSure bills yet this year

180 thousand Minnesotans are wondering what is going on with MnSure, the state health insurance exchange. Medicaid and MinnesotaCare insurance renewals have been held up by technical problems. State Representative Matt Dean says that has caused some major issues.

Dean says all of those people have yet to get a bill from MNSure for this year, leading to frantic calls to state offices which come with assurances but ongoing confusion.

 

Dean says although nobody has lost coverage as a result of the delay, MinnesotaCare patients are now concerned they will be hit with a bill for their premiums and any medical care they have had in recent months all at once.
