Tech school president proud of grad rates

The caps and gowns have been put away and the diplomas are being framed. What’s in store for the thousands of recent college graduates in Wisconsin? While they are often anxious about finding a job, a recently released report suggests graduates of Wisconsin’s technical colleges need not worry.

Western Technical College President, Lee Rasch tells us that some of their numbers are higher then the state’s overall.

 

95 percent of 2014 Western Technical College’s grads were employed within six months and 87 percent employed in occupations related to their degrees. Job placement rates for system wide graduates have been 86 percent or higher for the last 16 years.
