Cop beater in court

He’s in court today for beating on a police officer. Two cops came to see Duane Thomas around 5 a.m. on the Fourth at a Fifth Ave. apartment. When asked to step outside, he refused. Punched one cop in the face. The fight sprawled to the hallway, where Thomas pulled the officer down a 15-foot flight of stairs. The 42-year-old La Crosse man was tased twice. Arrested for bail jumping, possession, batter to police and a slew of other charges.
