Kind: Boost Overtime, Boost Economy

A plan to allow more Americans to be paid for overtime may be the centerpiece of President Obama’s speech, when he comes to U-W-L today.  The Obama visit has been advertised as dealing with the economy.  Congressman Ron Kind says the economy could be helped by an expansion of overtime pay.

Kind says Congress should schedule a vote on the overtime proposal, rather than leaving Obama to take credit or blame for it.
