Three Face Robbery Charges

Three Sparta residents will be in court Thursday for bail hearings after being charged with robbing the Wayside Tavern there a few weeks ago.

Sparta police say a man ran off with money he stole from the Tavern on June 11th. Cops responded to a report of the robbery just before 11 p.m.  as they were told a man showed a handgun and demanded money. Nobody inside was hurt.

 

Arrested were 23 year old Courtney Stalsburg, 27 year old David Walton and 27 year old Cody Nelson. Most of the money that was stolen and a gun used in the crime have been recovered.
