Abortion Bill Hearing Today

A public hearing will be held this morning on a fast moving Republican bill to ban all abortions in Wisconsin after 20 weeks of fertility.

 

The bill would mean that doctors who perform abortions after 20 weeks could be convicted of felonies, and go to prison for up to three and a half years. Governor Scott Walker said Monday that he will sign the bill if and when it reaches his desk.
