Onalaska Petitioners Seek Traffic Calming
People living near the Coulee Golf Bowl in Onalaska hope City Hall will take action to make traffic safer in their neighborhood. More than 30 persons have signed a petition for traffic calming on Evenson Drive, north of the golf course. According to the petition, drivers are speeding on a street where many children live, and homeowners would like some change made to the street to slow the cars down. The city says it examined traffic on Evenson Drive, and found that there were no accidents on that street during a three-month study period.
