UW-L Graduate Starts Drone Biz
Drones seem to be spreading everywhere in the air…and you’ll probably start seeing more of those small aircraft over farm fields. One recent graduate of U-W-La Crosse is in business with his cousin, using drones to scout farms. Zach Fiene with D-M-Z Aerial says taking to the air is much faster than inspecting a field by foot:
Zach says a drone can cover 100 acres in just five to 10 minutes, and can hover low to the ground to get close-up images of crops.
