Seriously Drunk Driver Faces First OWI

There are drunk drivers and there are the ‘how did she do that?’ drivers. A woman arrested by La Crosse police over the weekend falls into the latter category. Police say the 35 year old woman hopped a curb and hit a street sign on Sunday afternoon on the northside. Didn’t do well on the field sobriety tests, but she was able to hold herself upright. Surprising, considering she blew a .34 on the breathalyzer, over four times the legal limit to drive. The woman refused to admit she had been drinking and said she was coming from her job at a bar.
