Two murder suspects are expected back in Monroe County court at the end of this week. Zachary Davis and Sebastian Martinez will be formally charged in Sparta with the March stabbing death of Derek Magnuson in a Tomah motel. The pair was arrested later in Tennessee, after reportedly using a credit card stolen from Magnuson. Meanwhile, the suspect in another area murder made a court appearance in Jackson County on Friday. The bond for John Cook was set by a judge at one million dollars. His next hearing is in mid-June. Cook is suspected of stabbing a female friend last week, leaving the woman’s body in a dog park.
