Black River Falls Mayor Unconcerned About Prison Guard Cuts

Some uneasiness in communities around Wisconsin as lawmakers consider eliminating guards from prison watchtowers in an effort to save money. Leaders in some communities are worried about safety. Just a couple miles away from Jackson Correctional, Mayor of Black River Falls, Ron Danielson says he’s not all that concerned

 

 

 

In all, 60 tower guard jobs in 10 prisons around the state would be eliminated if the budget proposal becomes law.
