Stop For Pop And Smokes Leads To DUI
He was already plenty drunk when he decided to run for pop and cigarettes. But 56 year old Timothy Wittenberg decided to get in his car to travel the two blocks from his home. A fellow customer at KwikTrip warned Wittenberg not to drive after he appeared unsteady on his feet. But he ignored the warning and got behind the wheel. That’s when police pulled him over. They say he had a blood alcohol level of .294, more than triple the legal limit. Wittenberg has at least five prior convictions for driving drunk.
