Justices Not Talking……..For Now

Not exactly a convivial feeling on Wisconsin’s high court.  That’s very clear after an interview with new chief justice Patience Roggensack this week on the state’s Wisconsin Eye website.  In the interview, Roggensack says she hasn’t spoken with ousted chief justice Shirley Abrahamson since Abrahamson filed a lawsuit to keep her job

Abrahamson lost her seat as chief justice after a statewide vote last month that allowed the justices to pick their own chief rather than leave that decision up to seniority.
