Doyle Says Senior Care Talks Could Be Poison
Senior Care in Wisconsin will be discussed today by the state Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee. State Representative Steve Doyle says that conversation was like walking on hot coals a few months ago.
Governor Scott Walker’s proposed budget tried for a second time to make seniors get their medications from the more complicated Medicare Part D program and then use Senior-Care for what Part D doesn’t cover. Assembly finance chair John Nygren has said Walker’s plan is dead but there might be some effort to reduce Senior Care’s net price tag.
