Forrest Hills A Money Pumper

If some heavy criticism continues to pour into La Crosse city hall on the amount of money that’s getting spent to reconfigure the city’s Forest Hills golf course, city park and rec director Steve Carlyon will completely understand

News this week that work to move the course completely to the eastern side of train tracks will cost about 170 thousand dollars more than estimated.  But Burlington Northern is still paying the vast majority of the amount getting spent on the course rebuild.
