La Crosse Hunter In Trouble

A teenage hunter from La Crosse is facing six criminal charges, including reckless homicide, in a Rusk County shooting death.  The 17-year-old (Ryan Korish) faces trial in adult court for the shooting in March of Patrick McFarlane, who was hit by a stray bullet while shoveling snow.  The charges include recklessly endangering safety, negligent use of a weapon, and obstructing an officer by allegedly lying about the shooting incident, which happened while a group from La Crosse was hunting coyotes.  A complaint was filed last week.  The charges carry possible penalties of more than 25 years in prison.
