La Crosse Dive Building In The Works
A new central location for a volunteer rescue unit in La Crosse could greatly increase their response ability. That’s part of the reasoning behind a new building planned on Isle la Plume for the La Crosse Dive and Rescue. The other reason, says dive unit leader, Shawn Mahoney, is they have a lot of gear they need to stash in one spot
The city wants more details on the plans and fundraising for the new building before completely signing off on it, but the public works board has agreed to the building in concept.
