Arguments Over Prevailing Wage

A state senate committee today hearing testimony on a bill to repeal the state’s prevailing wage law which essentially sets a minimum wage for public construction projects. But backers of the bill say prevailing wage also says the law overly inflates what workers get paid in the state.
