Will Warmer Weather Slow Down Bird Flu Virus?

The ongoing hope is that the bird flu outbreak will slow with warmer

weather.  But many more cases have been identified this week at turkey and chicken farms in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.  And that probably won’t end, says Raechelle Cline, with Wisconsin’s department of Ag, until migratory birds carrying the virus stop coming up along the Mississippi flyway

While Wisconsin is up to seven farms that have been infected by the bird flu, Minnesota and Iowa have had dozens of cases affecting millions of birds.
