Limits On Food Stamp Benefits
Plans to limit food stamp benefits in Wisconsin may face some practical challenges in implementation. Onalaska state rep Steve Doyle says he’s heard plenty of concerns from grocers about how complicated it would be to put in place a system to track food stamp sales based on new limits
The latest proposal would mandate two thirds of food stamps be used for nutritional foods only and so-called luxury foods would be off limits altogether.
