Transportation Vision Not So Clear

The transportation vision in La Crosse isn’t quite as clear.  The city’s working on some kind of vision statement that lays out a general plan for the future of roads in the city.  The original vision focused on specifics like enforcing slower speeds and creating developments designed with parking shortages in order to increase public transit use.   A little too specific, says the city’s public works board, which has canned the original idea for something far less definitive.  Currently there’s no dollar amount associated with adhering to the so-called vision.
