Build With Wood…….Let’s Make A Deal

Waivers to fire codes are under consideration for new developments in La Crosse.   The city will consider waivers to downtown fire limits for both the new Fairfield Inn and the giant development on Lot C.  Fire chief Gregg Cleveland says he has no problem agreeing to the exceptions.  As long as they include a trade-up to a higher level of fire protection .  Like allowing the new Hampton Inn on second street to be made mostly out of wood
