Town Gets New Chair After Swearing

New town chair Terry Schaller and supervisors Lee Weis and Bruce Becker took their oaths of office before Tuesday’s Campbell Town Board meeting.  One of the more hotly debated items brought up at the annual session was the starting time for board meetings.  Older residents wanted the 6 p-m meeting time moved later to 7 o’clock, so more people can attend.  Others said residents with families might be too busy at 7 p-m to go to a meeting.  The citizens attending voted to keep the starting time at 6 o’clock.
