Chicago Man Sits After Striking Deputies

Five thousand dollars cash. That’s what a Chicago man needs to get out of the Monroe County Jail after his arrest for running into two sheriffs deputies Friday night at an Oakdale truck stop.
 
Deputies and the state patrol were called to the Love’s Travel Center on the report of a man involved in a domestic battery. After they arrived, a woman and two children got out of Casey Guys car and ran into the center. When Guy tried to leave, he ended up ramming two squad cars and the deputies that were driving them. One deputy fired several shots at the car, missing Guy.
 
He was finally arrested after slamming into a parked semi truck. The woman and a deputy were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Guy faces 3 charges of 1st-Degree Felony Recklessly Endangering Safety,
Felony Domestic Abuse as a Repeater and several other counts.
