Following the rules of the road when it comes to dealing with bicyclists and

pedestrians?  La Crosse police will let you know this morning if you aren’t and heading down West Avenue near UWL.  It’s a grant-funded special enforcement of traffic rules relating to biking and walking

Police lieutenant Pat Hogan.  This morning’s enforcement action, which will involve three extra cops on patrol around Vine and Pine streets, is the first of its kind this year.  There will be more.
