Locked In Car Leads To Charges
Three women in La Crosse are facing drug charges…because cops saw a young child locked inside a car on a hot afternoon. Police waited for the mother to come out of a house on Hagar Street before questioning her. Katie Kaiser is accused of child neglect, as prosecutor Emily Hynek explained in court:
Kaiser had admitted to buying heroin inside the house from another woman, Dana Krueger (KROO-ger). Tonya Novak also faces charges for allegedly handling heroin at the house. Krueger could face new charges in court today.
