Soldiers Grove Teen Dead In Weekend Crash

A 19-year-old from Soldiers Grove is dead, and other young people were hurt in a Vernon County crash that happened early Sunday.  Preston Nelson was killed after losing control of his pickup on Highway 14, hitting another vehicle, and rolling into a ditch.  Nelson was ejected from the truck.  Three passengers were in the pickup, with two of them taken to Gundersen in La Crosse for treatment.  Three young people from Viroqua were in the second vehicle, also a truck.  There was minor damage to that truck, and no one inside was hurt.
