All Eyes On Black River Falls Vote

On Tuesday night, a referendum asking whether the city of Black River Falls should keep maintaining its police department passed 521 to 519. But not so fast says Brad Chown, City Administrator.

If the referendum would have failed, the city says they would have most likely have chosen to contract with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department. Chown says a recount will almost be a certainty.
