UW-L Student And Airman To Be Honored
The United States Air Force is still investigating how a 22 year old UW-La Crosse student, away on deployment, fell out out of a fifth story window and died Sunday while over seas.
Meanwhile back on campus, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs & Dean of Students Paula Knudson says work is already underway to have Kelly Tomfohrde remembered here.
Tomfohrde spent three years as a student at UW-L before being deployed to Okinawa, Japan. The airman first class had planned to return to La Crosse after her deployment.
