Bradley Says Amendment Is Political Tool
A proposed constitutional amendment, that would allow Supreme Court justices to choose their own leader, will be decided on by Wisconsin voters Tuesday.
Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, who’s also on the ballot tomorrow , says the amendment is improperly being used as tool to settle political scores.
Voters on Tuesday will decide whether to amend the state constitution to replace language allowing for the longest-serving justice to be the chief justice. Instead, the proposal allows the chief justice to be elected every two years by the justices.
