Honor Flights To Take Flight Again

La Crosse’s Freedom Honor Flights are cleared for take-off, for another

year.  The next one-day trips to Washington, D-C for area veterans will be May 2nd and October 17th…both Saturdays.  About 50 Korean War veterans will be on the May flight, along with nearly 30 vets of World War Two and one Vietnam vet.  Another 300 veterans are on the waiting list for future flights, and Honor Flight president Pat Stephens says they’re still looking for World War Two veterans who would like to see the war memorials in Washington.
