County Clerks Frustrated Over ID

Not only was the Supreme Court’s decision not to hear the case of voter id’s

in Wisconsin a surprise Monday, it caught state election officials off guard. And after all poll workers had just gone through proper training a few months ago, La Crosse County Clerk, Ginny Denkmeyer says it’s back to the drawing board……again.

Photo id’s will not be required for an election just two weeks away in which a state Supreme Court justice will be elected, said Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel. But after that, you’ll need an i.d. at the polls to vote.
