Doyle Says Public Health Going In Wrong Direction

Overall public health in western Wisconsin is sitting pretty good at the

moment. But we’re heading in the wrong direction.  And that’s not good news says lawmaker, Steve Doyle.

Doyle points out in a few areas that are the focus of state attention….childhood immunizations, hospital readmissions, safe prescribing, and cancer deaths….there were widespread gains. Access to care deteriorated for adults, while costs increased. Which should make for some interesting conversations in Madison this session.
