Winona Bridge Project Creeps Ahead
A $56.1 million construction bid going towards the completion of
the new Winona bridge project was awarded to Ames Construction late last week.
Terry Ward is the MnDOT project manager for the Winona Bridge project. He tells us that this helps the project steam roll ahead.
Ward says construction has been progressing this winter as crews build the new bridge river piers. During the 2015 construction season, the Winona community will see the new $162 million bridge continue to rise from the river and ground.
