Vinehout Bill Mirrors Supreme Court Conversations

The federal government will have to deal with the fallout, if the US Supreme

Court rules that tax subsidies for Obama care coverage are unconstitutional. That according to Wisconsin State Senator, Kathleen Vinehout. The justices heard oral arguments Wednesday on whether it’s legal to give out subsidies in Wisconsin and almost three dozen other states that use the federal purchasing exchanges.

One reason why the Vinehout-Sargent legislation is being discussed. The bill would create a state run marketplace. State Representative Melissa Sargent, Assembly sponsor, says the bill would provide a solution to a possible crisis before it hits Wisconsin consumers.
