Mayo and GROW To Grow Together

Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare and GROW La Crosse, will

work together in the coming year to promote healthy eating through gardening programs. Mayo Clinic Health System will serve as corporate sponsor of the newly incorporated Grow La Crosse. Jamie O’Neill, Program Director for GROW La Crosse explains the news.

And that means GROW will continue to expand its school gardens program in the summer months via the district’s summer school program, while continuing to offer nutrition and garden based activities at each school. GROW currently maintains over 450 square feet of garden space at State Road and Hamilton/SOTA elementary schools in La Crosse.
