Police Have Potential Robbery Suspect in Custody

Police have a suspect in custody, accused of robbing the Community Credit Union in Onalaska this morning. Cops say the unnamed man went into the bank…. demanded money….then took off in a truck with an undetermined amount of cash. Shortly after the robbery, the truck, stolen out of Eden, Wisconsin, was found abandoned at the end of Oak Street near the Kwik-Trip Corporate office. Cops found footprints leading from the truck that went over the railroad tracks leading into La Crosse. La Crosse Police joined in the search and eventually found the man in the Bridgeview Plaza Coney Island. The name of the suspect is not being released at this time.
