Lot C Documents Ready For Signing
All that’s left now is the signing. La Crosse city and county leaders are
getting ready to sign documents agreeing to the development of Lot C downtown. And county board chair Tara Johnson hopes to have that ceremony tomorrow:
On Monday, the city council okayed an agreement with the county, guaranteeing that more than 30 million dollars of development will happen on the courthouse parking lot. Johnson says those improvements could lead to about a million dollars of new taxes coming to local governments every year.
